The Nutrition Calendar displays daily totals for a variety of nutrients, vitamins and minerals. This provides a
high-level overview of how you are doing with regards to meeting daily nutrient goals. You can change
the nutrient displayed in the calendar by using the drop-down selection box below.
Days in which you reach your goal are Green while Red
indicates that you failed to meet your goal.
For example, if your calorie allowance is 1,500, days in which you ate fewer than this are green, and days in
which you ate more are red. Fats, carbohydrates, protein, cholesterol and sodium work the same way
(consuming less is good, more is bad).
For the vitamins and minerals, days in which you consume 100% or more are green and days in which you fail
to reach 100% are red.
Note About Calories: When displaying calories, you may notice three numbers. The top number is your
true calorie intake. The bottom two numbers, from top to bottom, are your calories eaten and calories burned
(during exercise).
If you exercise, FoodsDatabase takes the calories burned during exercise and subtracts them from calories eaten
to get your true daily calorie intake.
